Well I'm hoping the lower isn't "prohib" due to the "HK416" it's a "semi" lower, but it's hard to tell with no markings?

I think they will be selling "parts kit" but with no barrel :( which kinda defeats the point IMO.

I was gonna pick up a spare piston, firing pin, buffer and springs. Basically stuff that breaks over time and use. But i agree. A barrel and an a5 adjustable gas block would be awesome.

The only spare parts I have are gas rings. They are "wear" items.

What I really care is genuine HK416 barrels. What Brownell building is a Korean car with a Porsche body and Porsche gear box, that is hooked up by the local garage to Hyundai engine and chassis.

Just FYI.

Somebody got their imported semi AR-15 prohibited by FRT lab for dummy full-auto markings on the receiver.

Some kind of commemorative AR. There was a thread here on CGN.

What is it aside from painted pictogram selector markings that makes this generic, fenced, non-Ambi lower an HK 416 clone? The current 416s feature a far different lower with full ambi controls. This ain't it....

Instant german space magic. The alloy itself is basically forged from moon steel and every forged blank has been touched by a g11 instantly upping its space force creds.

Was it the Troy GAU commemorative carbines?

That had a FAKE sear pin hole engraving, on the wrong location, but still determined it was too easy to convert to full auto despite extra meterial left in the lower that hadto be milled off as well?

I was looking at the brownells page today and the parts kit includes quite a bit of stuff. Just "less the lower receiver, bolt, and barrel." So i guess its good in case you ever need anything. They do also sell US made barrels and complete bolts for it. Idk about the barrel's quality, but at least its probably lighter than the MR223's. And if you really need a barrel or a bolt, a US made one is better than none at all.

Yep, that was it. The sear pin "mark" is enough for the RCMP to consider it a converted auto or some BS.... I'm not sure the selector markings by themselves will do it, as there are a few (Spikes Tactical I think) that can come with funny markings in the auto position.

Marking/ Pictogram are fine. Its thst fake sear pin that was the problem, i think the shelf too.

I have been getting spikes and aero m16 lower thru 3rd party import no problem
