I have an older Swarovski 1-5.5 variable power scope with a 1" diameter tube. It was sent back to the factory for refurbishing. So, it is in perfect condition, except that its finish is a bit scratched up. I planned to tape up the ends and turrets and then give it a gentle bead blasting to remove the old finish. I then was going to apply a coat of Brownells Alumahyde II flat black epoxy coating. The problem I have encountered is that epoxy is a restricted product, so I don't believe I can get it shipped into Canada. Is it possible to get this product shipped to Canada? Alternatively, does anyone know of a similar product that is available in Canada?
Thanks. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is arma coat still operating? I tried to get some to refinish a shotgun and all my emails and phone calls went unanswered.

the alumahyde is too thick of a coating for a scope. it doesn't go on that smooth. chances are the rings will damage it. you need cerakote c air dry as no heat required and less mil thickness required for coverage..
