Anyone have any experience with this pistol? I bought one less than a year ago and probably has less than 1000 rounds thru it. While cleaning it the other day, I noticed the recoil spring guide is cracked and worn (its a plastic part). I didn't want to send it away for warranty work for a $5 part that I could change myself but its not easy to get that part. The store where I bought it were nice enough to give me the part out of one of the guns they had in stock. Does anyone one know if this is a known problem with these guns? I found a couple of guys in the States have had issues but nothing on Browning's website.

I have one, had the same issue. I got a replacement but the same thing happened again. I've shot 1000 rounds or more with the replacement part and it seems to me that it wears to a point and stops. I check it after every time I use it and its the same. My solution was to keep using it until it breaks. I'm still using it...
