Well I just got my second browning 1911-22, Third browning 1911,
But Iam having issues, This new one is the Black label tactical with the threaded barrel.
So I can take the thread protector off, but does anyone know if the adapter itself comes off? Iam thinking it must to properly disassemble the pistol. But it doesnt want to budge.
Anyone have experience with this gun?

From the finish difference the end adpater is clearly a different part than the rest of the barrel. But is it threaded in or press fitted with a bonding agent is the question.

The only on line parts diagram I could find for the small Browning 1911 seems to indicate a sleeve barrel within a carrier tube and a nut that goes on the end to secure the rifled sleeve to the outer tube. If you look in the end of the threaded piece is there a hex recess or something that looks like it will take a tool for removing it?

Now this isn't to suggest that you do so. Generally rifled liners inside an outer tube that form the barrel assembly are best left alone unless they go wonky. You certainly don't want to pull them apart and put them together for something like cleanings. Just treat it as a one piece part that stays as it is.

I've found I can still take the pistol apart but I have to leave the bushing on, There is also a washer around the barrel close to the chamber that seems to be there to hold the bushing in place once the barrel is removed, Neither of my other ones have it, So it must be designed to clean with the bushing still on
