Looks like a trombone missing the but stock.

Trombone parts are hard to come by. They were built by FN of Belgium. Only about 150,00o were made and very few were imported Ito Canada. Try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton for some parts. They do have butts for both square and round tang. If you want to part it out PM me.
