Good morning; this is my very first post. Ordinarily, I do my hunting with a hawk. I am a falconer. I have been hunting for about 35 years. I live north of Whitby on 60 plus acres.
I have another good falconer friend as well. But he has helped to get me interested in coyote hunting. I literally have them on my property and regularly see them on the game cam.
Cutting to the chase. I have read as much as I could and have gone to a number of gun shops and found the gun that was felt the best was a Browning .243 semi.
This would be my first rifle. I do know that bolt action rifles are considered more accurate. But as I said, the Browning felt good in my hands. I have read everything I could on the rifle. It is considered a very good rifle. Very accurate for a semi. It does not jam as long as you perform proper maintenance. It must be good...........I can't find one now that I have decided to purchase. i really like the wood satin stock.
Any idea where I might find a good used one or a new one? I of course will need a scope so your feedback there would be appreciated as well.
I invite any of your comments. I am the first to admit, I don't pretend to know a lot so this is forum is a good place to learn.
