Browning .338 magnum

If the better accuracy with the Boss is really minimal, than I don't need it.
Especially at 50-200 yards as most likely shot distance.

I think I'll go with the .300, the extra knock down of the .338 is better, but probably not that much extra to go with the heavier gun, more recoil & extra
$$ on ammo.
 
if 200 yards is your longest shot distance , you don't need a magnum of any sort- you're even selling some of the standards short- 250 for the 308, f'rinstance- look at a standard- easier on your shoulder, pocketbook, and there's not much a 308-180 can't get done inside 300 yards
 
Thoose 2 BAR's I mentioned were both grizzled old moose guns and chambered in 30-06. They did thier owners proud over the years.:D

P.S. BOSS equiped rifles are more than "minimaly" more accurate but probably not enough to justify their being there if you don't shoot past 300yards on big things like moose.
