Hello .358 CGN loaders
I write to you requesting your input for the Browning .358 BLR. I will start by stating this is my first handload ever. My goal is to create an accuate combo with your help. The harvest is for deer to moose in one bullet. I have researched on CGN and the prefferance is all over the map or not available anymore. I have sourced original brass from a local supplier. The powder combo will follow bullet chosen.
#1: So from all the .358 hunters, my first issue is to nail down the best bullet for hunting in the southern BC for deer and up to moose. I want to use years of trial and error from you wallets help me in a accurate useful bullet.
#2: What should my first handload group look like for the BLR?
#3: What kind of range are ya'll reaching out to harvest with .358?
I look forward to the bench both in the man cave and on the range. Thanks for any suggestions you might have to share in creating my first load combonation. Once I hit a toonie out at 300 yards. I will have to put the BLR away till hunting season.
Hum what will be the next edition to my collection? That is a whole different post... Oh! Beacuse this a contest. I will post the final recipe that helped me take the first steps into handloading.
Sincerely,
Stormin30
