Has anyone ever had this happen? a browning 725 field 12g brand new out of box, I shot 25 rounds of clays and passed it to a friend to try. about half a box in the gun wouldn't lock closed or reset triggers. not sure if he didn't bang it open and closed hard enough or what it could have been. I took it apart and put it together again and opened and closed it a few times and what I noticed was the tab you push to open the action started moving into closed position.it was like the spring was out of it like the full width pin was somehow locked or jammed back. maybe its part of breakin or action needs cleaning? what do you guys think? it works like new right now.
