Hi All,

Not sure if I should be posting in here but I have a Browning A-Bolt .30-06 Stainless Steel in a black plastic stock and I want to put a tactical stock on it. Looking for some pictures / recommendations where to purchase etc. Not sure what brands I should be avoiding.

Pretty much what it looks like now:

You get the idea!!!! I just googled the above A Bolt Stocks no idea if they are realistic options or not! Again just looking for input and ideas! Show them all!

None of the rifles you referenced are Browning A-bolts. I don't think you have much for options when it comes to re-stocking an A-bolt action.
Top 2 are GRS. Bottom 2 are proprietary Blaser/Sig stocks.

Again I'm looking for re-stocking A-Bolt Action options. The pictures I posted were not supposed to be realistic options just the look/idea I'm going for. If at all possible?

I would keep the browning for a light hunting rifle and build your tactical gun with a different action. Rem, rem clone, custom, tikka or savage all are better options. However I can't really say I'm too familiar with browning actions, but when/if you get serious in printing tiny groups, I think you'll find little support available.

All I needed to know.

Not too familiar with them either. But if they have or you can get a good trigger for them and a detachable AI magazine bottom metal.
There is virtually no reason one couldn't be made into a good rig.
I am sure a smith could custom inlet a stock to fit and put a different barrel on it.
But then again, I don't usually like to do things the easy way either.
