Guess?
When the Gun registry came along, I scrambled to get my license so that I could ensure my old man's firearms would not be "lost."

One of the rifles is Browning A-bolt Gold Medalion .243, made in Belgium. The rifle is beautiful, I just find the calibre extraneous to my needs and I want to pick up something else. There are a couple safe marks on the stock, but I am sure they can be buffed out. What do you guys think she is worth? This is the only Browning in my safe and I honestly have no idea.

she is a beauty I am sure she would bring 600$ for a fast sale ,243 is a good call for someone that wants one gun for deer and coyotes ,good luck ,I am not sure about that scope ,Dutch

Thanks.

Ya, the scope is not to my liking either. I do like Redfields and the glass is clear and functions great, it is just a wide view or "TV" view that I just cannot get used to.

It just says A-bolt on it.

If it is only around $600-$700 I may keep it. I know it has less appeal to the masses, but there is no way this rifle is only a couple hundred dollars more than an Axis or even my American. The stock and scroll work is fantastic and she is a tack driver.

Keep it. Nice rifle, nice caliber. Put a good scope on that and you are set for life. You are correct in saying that it is far superior to any axis or American......or in my view a Remington or Winchester. Keep it and enjoy.
