browning A Bolt mag conversion

So, I lost my 2 Nd magazine for Abolt 2......

I got lucky last time an Paid $60 for a new one...someone's spare.
Now it's $180 brand new.

I want to convert this to a Floor plate with a spring ? Is it possible?

I don't think it's a simple job, thinking there needs to be something to hold the cartridges in place aka magazine lips...
I feel I could grind an file down a floor plate off something else, but not sure how those cases would stay put.

Tell me more Please.

Sounds like a reasonable easy job for a 'smith with some parts laying around
Spring, follower and an internal box

Buy another mag & make it impossible to open the hinge plate so you don't loose it again. Load it from the top. Cheapest & easiest fix because the action doesn't have feed rails to keep the cartridges in place & feed .

I think this is it, there is nothing to keep the rounds in.

Just pin the mag to the floor plate, that way it won’t get lost again!

yeah roger, i suspected that be the case---

what a spew.
it has to be only in one of a few places, so i will just park it in the Safe for now, use the kimber an continue searching the couple of places for it.... all being in bush places just coming out on dark-- bit of a jungle so retracing is difficult.
