Hellow guys and Gals I'm new to this forum and was looking for some help is possible. I purchased an A-bolt eclipse in 270 WSM and would like to replace the OEM spring with a Timney. I have already truned the spring tension down all the way but its still to heavy for my liking, I have the two springs that come with the kit but was wondering on how to remove the OEM one first. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank You

Have you looked at the trigger? What's stopping you from just doing it? Honestly, if you need help figuring out how to change that spring, you shouldn't be doing it....

Sorry to say I have never seen these triggers improve without a bit of work on the sears... changing springs doesn't do much for the creep...

Yeh I have seen the trigger and spring and have turned it down to its minimum, but I believe the trigger pin has to be removed in order to get to the spring but first have to figure out hoe to remove the assembly. On the A-bolt's there is actulay no creep just a crisp snap. First gun I have owned with no creep go figure.

You don't need to remove the assembly... the pin pushes out and the only thing holding the trigger then is the "safety" screw... unscrew it and remember to replace it.. the safety will not function without it.
