Browning Abolt 22 Value

Hi, just looked it up in the blue book.
It looks like yours is the A Bolt Gold medallion grade. At 100% condition it is valued at $455.00 US. The last manfactureed suggested retail was $567.00 US. Add $14.00 US if it has open sights.
A grade one is $320.00 US and last retail was $425.00 US

Looks to be very well-cared for ... doesn't appear to have a mark on it
from the photos ... but bore (and chamber) condition will be of primary
consideration. If it can keep them in a half inch at 50 yards with good
target ammo, it's would be a good buy.

The scope/mounts if they stay with the gun ... add another $ 100.
The Gold Medallion typically had the rosewood forend & pistol grip cap,
high gloss higher grade walnut ( which this gun appears to have) as well as a little bit of moderate "engraving" on the action & a solid rifle-style recoil pad
(which isn't apparent in the photo).

I had the identical gun and I am pretty sure that it is not the Gold Medallion. I cannot see any engraving on the top of the receiver unless is does not show in the pictures.
I bought my Browning A-bolt .22 at S.I.R. in Winnipeg in 1994 for $399.99
I bought a 15 shot clip for it from the states for around $50.00
I sold everything this winter for $325.00

Hi taffman. I kinda wondered if this was you. My son-in-law bought that gun from youand has been very happy with the wat it shoots. We spent about 3 hours and 1000 rounds in a gopher patch a couple weeks back. Never a glich, and accurate beyond what a ,22 should do. (Might even match my CZ 452.....NAH)

Glad it's working out OK, thought you would have good luck with it.
There sure is a lot of people from Brandon that are members of Gunnutz, I was surprised at how many.
Did you ever put that EricBrooks trigger in that CZ yet? Then you will experience accuracy my friend.

I'd guess somewhere around $400... They're good little gun. I love the action... now if spare magazines were a little easier to find!
This must be the standard grade, since the medaillon didn't have any sights.
