Just picked up an auto 2 wondering what its worth in about 85 percent with good blueing on barrel hasn,t been used much but has some small dents and dings, Oppinions welcome Thanks Dana P I cant get photo,s on but she has a purpleish reciever andf it is a twelvette

I assume you are talking the double automatic? If so around $500.00 give or take unless you have one of the less common colored receivers .

A Browning Auto Double in great shape usually fetches more than five brown ones.

You know photos are always a good option on threads such as these.

There are two models of the Double-Auto:

The standard steel receiver known as the Double-Auto, and;

An aluminum receiver known as the Twelvette.

The latter came with anodized receivers in a variety of colours, but most were black.

The standard receives far better prices than the Twelvettes, though some sellers seem to think they are something special.

A standard may be worth between $550-850 depending on barrel and condition. A Twelvette will run $350-650 depending on the condition (anodized receivers are easily damaged), though some of the colours appear to be rare and may be worth more.
