I have been fighting for hours with an older (1950's) Browning Auto 5 shotgun in 12 gauge. Some of these models have a two piece shell carrier and some have a one piece carrier. The one I have is a one piece carrier. I am having problems bending the latch assembly so that it interacts properly with the shell carrier. I have an armorers manual for the gun and it contains a lot of instructions referring to these parts but I am having trouble understanding them. I haven't been able to find anyone who is any more knowledgeable about these guns than I am and any help you can give me would be very much appreciated. (Especially a close up picture of the bottom of the receiver with the carrier in the up position, showing the installed carrier latch.)
