Hi guys, Can you order in one of these b525 Liberty's for my wife(?) I can't seem to find them and wondered if they're not available; or if the north American market uses a different name?

Designed specially for lady shooters, this stunning new addition to the Browning range is likely to become a highly sought after lightweight 12-bore shotgun.

What’s new?

Although Browning has produced a lightweight range for some time, this new addition breaks the mould due to some new and exciting characteristics.

• Weight is just under 6lbs (2.7kg)
• New style engraved aluminium
action frame
• New style Monte Carlo stock, in
American grade 2/3 walnut.
• Diana Extended Chokes.
• Back-bored 28in or 30in barrels.
• Inflex Recoil Pad.

The gun instantly impresses and exudes quality. Picking it up, its lightness, balance and feel give it the dignity and authority of a high quality gun.

Designed for the lady shooter

Primarily designed for the lady shooter it also works well as a training and coaching gun. It would also suit younger and smaller shooters of all ages.

As a gun for walked-up and rough shooting days, I would rather have this over my arm than lug around my usual game gun. It would certainly be my go-to choice.

Instructor Rose Thomas tested the Liberty Light

For the test I enlisted the help of a lady shooter, Rose Thomas of Kibworth Shooting Ground who is a qualified shooting instructor. After using it she said: “What a fabulous gun, I could get to like this – a lot, and it’s an ideal choice for teaching newcomers to the sport. I love it”.

The higher than usual comb prevents any shooter from being too low and not being able to see the barrels, giving a more head-up position for visual target acquisition.

Conclusion

I’ve shot a lot of different guns during my life and have to say that this is the first lightweight gun that I would want to own.

I said earlier that it possesses a dignity and quality, and by that I mean it has a pedigree and class that I find very attractive. It handles very well and so sweetly. It offered me a “liberating” experience.

Nice. I know there might be an extended timeline in place, but I would appreciate a heads up when they become available. Is there someone I can email, or somewhere I can watch for their release and pricing?
Thankyou

Will find out. I do know we have four right handed ones in two barrel lengths and one lefty coming.

I'll get it priced asap. they are already on the way here from the factory in Japan.

Just thinking of my sub 6lbs 12 gauge single shot and I fail to see how this will be the ultimate woman's shotgun. I would think it would kick like a mule. I put 3/4lb of lead in the butt of my single shot and now it is quite pleasant to shoot, but before that it was pretty rough.

well...its a over under, not a single shot so it can be used for more than hunting and trapp...its similar to a larger gun, but lighter, so realistically it will be well suited to smaller men as well that want to go skeet shooting.... really it sounds like a good all around gun.

My friend just received the left hand Liberty Light, and couldn't be more pleased, it may be designed for ladies, but it is a great option for any shorter shooters. As well, he is very pleased with the light weight, and the fact that three recoil pads are included to fine tune the LOP.

Hope he shoots it well!!! Sweet guns for those with a smaller stature.

Looks like a nice gun for the right person, do you have access to all of the Browning UK shotgun line?

No, we are direct with Browning, Canada. Of course, Browning Canada draws inventory from the USA too (we can see inventory on the dealer website in both countries) Guns for the European market are only brought in at discretion of the executives, not at our request. :( WEe've had this question a few times last few years.

That is unfortunate, the Browning UK site has some nice guns, hopefully this will change someday. Thanks for the response.
