looking for a good hunting load for my bar in 308. so far i've tried speer 165 boattails with 44/45 grains imr4064 powder. what type of accuracy should i expect? comments or any information appreciated.
44 grains of 4064 with a 165 is a great load, sometimes theres a big difference if you use flat base bullets. I would try the flat base Hornady 165 with 44 of 4064 a classic load that has been very accurate in every 308 I have ever tried it in.
