I'm definitely interested in picking up a Browning BAR. The Browning BAR 4X peeks my interest, announced in January this year I believe. I haven't found anyone talking about this model, thought that may be due to me not achieving full member status yet. Has anyone heard anything about th BAR 4X coming to Canada?

I HIGHLY DOUBT it. Those are European models and from time to time one shows up. You can always try to order from Browning International and see if it shows up. In our current semi-auto hating govt, you may have hard time. Other than modularity and customization, the heart and soul is basically the Mk3 which you would be pretty happy with.
