Just a question about ejector marks on my handloads from my browning bar and also Remington 750. I first noticed the telltale high pressure ejector mark on some cases fired from my REM 750 and now on my new browning bar.I originally assumed pressure was the culprit but have been reading that these marks can be superficial on autoloaders. The loads are fine in all bolt guns I have tried and are not high end loads. Seems to do it on factory loads as well. Doesn't seem to be all loads though either. Any insight on whether auto loaders are just more sensitive to pressure or is something else going on here. Groups have been really good as well.

One thing that autoloaders are sensitive to is keeping the pressure up farther down the barrel. If your BAR is throwing the empties halfway across the range and factory are dropping them beside the gun you're battering your action.

My loads were with h380, 4320 and 4350. I have stuck with faster powders as I've heard slow powders don't work well with older bars and no adjustable gas block. Shells seem to land in a neat pile at the range a couple feet from my shooting position. Just curious if ejector marks are a concern or if they are common in auto loaders? Just did a thorough cleaning as well do maybe residual oil I'm chamber?

My Browning Bar 270 also shows ejector circular marks and I'm 4 grains under max with IMR 4064. Also have a flat mark on the edge of the case head from the ejector rear plate.
