What are your experiences with these rifles? Good, bad, or ugly?
Are they accurate? Do they ever jam? How's the recoil in the
magnum calibers...Is it drastically reduced?
From what i've read online, everyone who owns them loves them.

Yes to your questions. Recoil is reduced, drastically don´t know, but it is reduced quite a bit.
The big drawback from my point of view is cleaning. You have to strip it regularly and clean thoroughly otherwise malfunction.

Yes, little harder to clean than say a Benelli, but otherwise a very reliable accurate rifle.

If you go with the longtrac/shorttrac model, you can buy winchester sxr mags and have fully detachable mag system.

I have no experience with the lightweight stalker, but I have a clasic BAR in 338 win mag. Recoil is reduced (as in all semi's). Accuracy is quite good and I've had no reliability problems. I'd like to be able to get 5 round mags for it though, just because.

I had one. They are pretty decent for accuracy. As for cleaning, they are not too bad, just a little time consuming. My was a safe queen and was too nice to get beat up in the bush. So I sold it.
