Howdy folks, I am ready to find a good load for my rifle. I have had for a couple of years, but have shot it very little. It is a BAR lightweight in 30-06.

I am looking to try to work up two loads:

165 gr, 150 gr and 125 gr bullets.

Does anyone have a pet load or recipe which they like for this particular rifle? Factory rounds group average at best.

You may find very few people will stick thier necks out and recommend specific loads. For the 165 load I would yhink IMR 4350 would work well, just always seems to in an 06.

LOL thanks.

Just needed a starting point. I have always loaded 30-06 loads for bolt action. The BAR action is a little different and too busy to spend a lot of time at the range for dead-ends.
