Browning Bar mk2 action mainspring

Mine came broken from intersurplus any ideas? its a 308 lightweight but takes 30-06 mags of all things

I may have a spring from the original BAR. Not going to say, without certainty, that it would match. Contacting Western Gun Parts may help, as they were the purchasers of most of the warranty parts for Browning Canada.

Browning parts are getting pretty hard to get lately, especially here in canada.

Order from Numrich. They ship to Canada..BAR Mk 2 all had the same action lengths. 308win will have a spacer at the back of the mag..If a 30-06 works, guess that will do. The mag will look like the middle one. BAR Mk1 on left, Bar Mk3 on right.....all in 308 win.

Yes same thing happen to me..A very reputable dealer ordered one in when I needed an extra and it was for a MK3. To clarify, the MK3 does not work. Luckily I had a MK3 as well at the time. Browning part number is 112025011 (Mk2)..not 112025050(Mk3).
