I have just purchased a Browning BDA 380 in Stainless, it is a beautiful looking gun with a 4.25 barrel. I have been looking through the internet, lots of pictures. What can anyone share with me about the pistol?

Was the barrel extended? My BDA 380 is about 3.5" and 12/6. I would take it over a ppk any day (I have one of those too). It is a great little gun. mine is blued with wood grips. I have Pachmayrs for it but the wood looks so good I left them on. If you are looking for 10 rd mags, Numerich has them for $18 each (blued). genuine Baretta in the blister packs. (I hope you know that the BDA is based on the Baretta 84) do a search under Baretta 84. Numerich charges a $25 handling fee but will allow you to buy $200. I don't have any pics of mine, but you won't be disappointed.

Was curious so did some checking. Are you sure it's stainless? Everything I have read says they were only made in blue or nickel. Have you had it apart? The frame should be alluminum, if so it's definately plated.

One of my friends used to own and carry one. It is a very nice, well balance, well fitting, smooth working gun. It has very pleasant recoil and the trigger and accuracy weren't too bad, if I remember correctly (that was about 20 years ago). As a range gun, I would take it over the PPK anytime (the PPK would draw blood from the web of my hand after only one mag). As a conceal gun, I'd take the PPK any day.

The fact that it is a double stack mag 380 with factory 10 shot capacity is pretty cool too. Mine is 12(6) blued like dogzilla's.
