Hello all. I'm looking for info on the Browning/sig BDA .45 the ones actually manufactured in germany. hoping for a link for an explode view, download manual, and whatever you nuts know about this rare gun. Reason being I have found one only 4 blocks from my house! mint condition except for a few knicks on the left side of the slide right in the very bottom edge. The seller is 75 years old and has an impressive collection of rare guns. he is apparently the origional owner and said the gun has seen no more than 80 rounds in its time and it looks the part.

what is the value? I can't seem to find any info anywhere. priced to me at $425.

now for the dellema. is this gun a collectors peice and should stay a safe queen or should I put 50 through it twice a week at the tac night at my range? (which is what i want it for in the first place). thanks in advance.

I didn't even know they made a BDA in 45:confused:

Personally I think that guns were made to be shot, not shooting them is as weird as people who buy cars and don't drive them. I guess if you want it just for an investment don't shoot it. Try finding a Browning handgun forum, collectors usually hang around manufacturer specific forums.

I have a BDA 45 since 1973 an it's top notch, the rails on it is still the same as new. The euro mag release is no reason not to buy a real good dependable gun. George
