Browning BL-22 Lever Action--Opinions?

It's light and easy to carry, shoulders nice, shoots well. An all a round great rifle right up until you pull the trigger and you find it's an 8 pound pull.
OK maybe not 8 pounds but the pull is more than the rifle weighs. You can hang the rifle on the trigger and it won't fire.
