I just borrowed my Father-in-law's BL-22 and wanted some advice. It looks as though it was put away dirty and I know it has not been shot for a number of years. To say it has been neglected is an understatement.
I want to give it a very good cleaning tonight, I checked the manual online and it says not to disassemble the rifle for cleaning, is there a particular reason for this? I would prefer to do a detailed strip and cleaning tonight but if it is a hard job or very complicated I'll just do the best I can without taking the gun apart.
I googled, but could not find any instructions for detailed disassembly , can you guys help me out here. Whats the best way to go about doing a detailed, thorough cleaning of the gun.
Oh and I should add I want to shoot the gun tomorrow, so time is a factor.
Thanks in advance.
