I am trying to find out if it is possible to lighten up the action of a Browning BL22.
I am just getting into CAS and have tuned up my Winchester 1873 by reducing the tension on the 3 leaf springs. It now has a lighter wieght action than my BL22. The heaviest resistance in the BL22 is when it is cocking the hammer. The BL22 uses a coil spring on the hammer. Are lighter hammer springs available that will still strike with enough force to ignite the primer?
