Hey guys.

It has just recently been brought to my attention that there is NO difference in quality from Browning Arms made is Belgium, to the Browning Arms made in Japan.

Specifically interested in BLR models.

Just curious to see if anyone has the same and different opinions, and possibly more information on this topic?

Thanks.

Starting new threads won't get you new info...

Miroku quality is excellent... some might say better than FN Herstal. You can stop worrying about quality and start figuring out configuration and chambering.

I have Japanese BLR...sighting in scope first 4 rounds (300 WM) punched 1.5 inch circle at 100 yards. I believe their 1moa claim is probably justified.

The Miroku made firearms are excellent. No question. Have a couple. Outstanding fit, finish and function.

Awesome thank you all.

I meant no disrespect to anyone. Just trying to figure out how to best obtain information as i am new to the forum, and was just looking to get more opinions, experiences, and information.

The Japanese have been at the top of the game in manufacturing for nearly 50 years now, regardless of the commodity.
It may be a generalization, but born out of personal experience I don't think you can get better for the money. Love my Miroku's, Hondas, Yamahas, Suzukis, Seikos, Mitutoyos etc....

The blr was made in Belgium for one year 1st year of production way back in the day American firearm company had there firearms built in Belgium for the same reason they had them built in Japan cheap labour now Japan manufacturing is exspensive and some of the best quality in the world . Now it’s china Philippines and a few other of short country’s and most firearms built in these places are junk
