The 358 Winchester is an awesome caliber, just very difficult to find new guns in this caliber.

The fact that Prophet River Firearms actually has Browning BLR rifles in stock, and at a great price is a miracle in itself.

Browning BLR rifles have been on order for over five years at a lot of gun shops. Most of these BLR guns never materialize......

I'm a BLR fan but think the short action cartridges make it shine even more.

Sold a .270 in favor of a 7-08. Would take a .358 or a .223 in a heart beat. Ymmv...

I stand corrected, the last time I looked at the Browning website, the 358 was "no longer available" but I see it is now. Good on Browning for bringing this one back! Would love to see it though in the stainless, laminate, takedown model though of which it is not available but there are enough other models listed now to scratch the 358 itch.

Grabbed the .30-06 straight grip, beautiful rifle! And for $1550 why not? Can barely get an italian repro lever action for that price and forget about a Marlin that cheap. Especially if the EE scalpers are your only option.

Browning USA and Canada ship from the same warehouse. Guessing its just a website error. (Browning ships from Montreal but receives regular shipments from the USA, when we order we can see inventory in both locations and buy from either)

Ok thanks, i already have one of your henry .44's with case hardened reciever etc. The other posters are right, prices on used ones are outright nuts. Not sure why but will wait and watch.

In the mag fed BLR you can not use those rimmed cartridges. Now if you want to barrel one say in 45 win mag, or 44 automag with the rebated rims all you have left to do is figure out the magazine.

Sorry my bad , i am not totally versed in all the Browning lines, more interested in the 1892 and 1886 models. Thanks .
