Browning BPS 10

Does anyone own or has owned one? What was liked and not liked. General performance of the shotgun? Any info please.

I had one. Very good gun. Sold it because it was too long for my arm to cycle it when I was hunting snow goose. I'm 5"9.

I had one for a short time. You need really long arms to pump it. The stock is narrow and would beat my cheek till it bruised. It was not easy to swing. I got rid of mine and got an SP-10, a world of difference.

I agree with both skhunter and DavidL, you need really long arms to cycle it comfortably. I'm over 6 feet tall and it is an uncomfortable reach for me.

I know a few hunters who have 10 gauge Browning pump shotguns.There all seem to be pleased with how well they work and bag game.

I have a 28 gauge Browning BPS and I find it to be a little long in the stock for myself.

I use one with 26'' BBL handles nice functions flawlessly like all BPS shotguns I would not want one with a BBl longer than 26'' . it has a long sighting plane because of the long receiver .

I had one, sold it. Just way too big for me to shoot well. I am 6' tall med. build.

I'm 100 kilos, 5-11
cut the bustock off some and shortened the barrel to 26" with Briley chokes
Had to play with the stock fit a bit because there are no shim kits available for the BPS
Otherwise love the gun, light loads for ducks over deeks and heavy loads for pass shooting ducks and geese. Also have a 12 ga 22" and a 20 ga 22" BPS's

I had one as well. A really good quality gun, but the stock was too long for me. Sold it and now use a Remington SP10 which fits perfectly, like all Remingtons.

I have a BPS 12ga 3.5 inch and it's awsome. Shoots real good and is built better quality than most of the guns out there.

This ones going to the grave with me.
