Has anybody ever seen or heard of one of these existing within the borders of Canada? I know they exist, and would love to track one down, but can only seem to occassionally see them on the market in the US. They featured a wild turkey scene engraving on one side of the reciever, and a whitetail deer scene on the other. It sported a 20.5 inch barrel with invector chokes, and had a matte blue finish to the barrel/reciever, and a matte finish on the stock and grip.

Any info on these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Yes, these are around north of the border. I owned one many years back, and have seen the barrels themselves floating around.

I honestly don't recall the finish being any different than a standard BPS, but I may be misremembering.

Keep in mind that the game gun barrel has a mounting ring that is different than a standard BPS barrel. While it will work on a BPS receiver, it requires an additional plastic cone washer and spring washer to properly mount. The tapered mounting ring is intended to better center the barrel and provide improved accuracy.

Awesome!! Thanks so much for your intel! Im fascinated by late 80s, early 90s shotguns when they really started to innovate and produce specialty shotguns. Turkey shotguns in specific... The remington Special Purpose in mossy oak, late 80s mossberg 500, winchester 1300 NWTF, etc, etc. One of those brownings would be a cool one to have. Id like to track one down.

Speaking of which, you ever seen/heard of one of those early 90s remington SPS turkey models in original bottomland or greenleaf, north of the border?
