Well I was out on the weekend shooting some skeet when half way through my second round my gun jammed. I was shooting a double and after breaking the first bird I cycled the action to load the second shell and pulled the trigger when nothing happened. There was no click when I pulled the trigger and no bang. Making sure that I just didn't hear the click I waited the standard 60 seconds and then proceeded to try and unload the gun. The pump was locked fully forward and the lever on the left of the receiver, for un-locking the pump, was moving freely and not under any spring tension. The lever in the loading port which is also used to empty the gun was also jammed. After some fiddling I finally decided to remove the barrel to get the live shell out and after that the gun worked fine. It's a Browing BPS Stalker with a 3.5" chamber. Does anyone have an idea of what caused this and should I take it to a smith to be looked at? When I got home I game it a good cleaning as I always do and it cycled emty hulls and snap caps with out this issue. Any input would be appreciated.

FYI. A friend bought a new BPS 10 gauge and after the first shot his gun did the same except it would not fire anymore after the first shot. He sent it back for repairs and Browning would not repair it and offered his money back. He never was told what the problem was with his gun? Bought it from Epps.
