Although Browning does not position this shotgun as a tactical/self-defence model, that's basically what it is with its 20" barrel and optics rail.

This is the first I've even heard of it, let alone seeing it for sale, but you never know.
I've always wondered why the BPS wan't offered in a tactical format.

They've made a couple of versions over the years (i.e. BPS Tactical, BPS High Capacity) but they have always been fairly rare.

The quality of the new production Ithacas isn't that great from what I understand.
