Browning BPS vs Remington 870

When I think of a BPS I think of a gun that is well made and a shooter enjoying using it for all kinds of shotgunning, when I think of a Rem express 3 1/2 inch gun I think of a guy heading to the gunsmith. FS

For me it is a toss up between the BPS and the Wingmaster. I like the bottom eject of the BPS which does not piss off the person to the right in a blind and I just love a slick wingmaster. The express, though functional is just a cheap imitation of the wingmaster. It might as well be called Norinco:evil:

Unless you have lots of money to throw away, get an Ithaca M37 or featherweight. Bottom ejection is great, keeps the empty casings where you can find them, highly reliable action and if you are left handed, the casings don't go whizzing by your nose. Browning is way overpriced for the difference in either Remington or Ithaca. I have had all three and my Ithaca was still my favorite. Should never have sold it..

Buy the one that fits you best. The nicest shotgun in the world won't work for you if it doesn't fit you properly.
