Hi all,
Just bought Browning Buckmark rifle on EE and took it to the range yesterday. Overally very nice rifle, no FTF with Winchester Wildcats. But I have noticed a lot of sparks flying out of the action during firing. Is that a normal thing for this firearm? I have never noticed so many sparks with any of my firearms before, be it handgun or a rifle.

Yup, normal. Hot ammo tends to be a bit worse as well. It's because the entire slide blows back and it's closer to your face that it becomes more noticable....a "tradional" semi auto can only blow the crap out of the side, so you don't notice it as much.

Enjoy the BMR, hands down it is the best .22 I have had the pleasure to own :)

Cool,
Thanks guys. I did not really think there was a problem with a rifle, it's just that I have never noticed it before with other firearms.
