Does anyone have any experience with the Browning Buckmark Camper .22 pistol? I was particularly wondering about problems with ammo feeding.

I had a nice Browning Buckmark given to me a few years back, it had no problems feeding. Put about 4-500 rounds through it and sold it. The novelty wore off I guess.

The camper plastic sight base will probably crack... get the standard version.

I have a '88 Field model, put about 2000rnds with no problem.

I have a couple and have sent thousands of rounds down the line, two - three hundred rounds in an evening is quite common. Aside from replacing the recoil pad, I have had zero issues with mine. I clean mine when it starts to stick and doesn't cycle the slide enough to load the next round. Is that what you are experiancing? What ammo are you using, I've had the best luck with Winchester 22 Target. It's a little lighter load which keeps the gun steadier between shots.

I've shot the 5.5 Target version and quite liked it.

I've mostly shot a borrowed S&W Model 41 for bullseye competition, but I must admit I prefer the Buckmark.

I'm thinking of buying one.

I have had problems with mine feeding. Some times I can run 500 rounds through some times I can get jams 3 times in a row. I think its the bullet's tip that hits the ramp that guides in to the chamber and it gets hung up on dirt or its a bad bullet that may have poor coating on it. Another thing is I dont think this gun is made to shoot really fast. Most jams happen on the first 2 rounds in a 10 rd clip. Mine is happiest with Winchester super X ammo.
