Have been going to the range a fair bit the last 3 days. First thing in am B4 work and later in the PM. Usually take the 10/22 and the 22 cal pistol.
Went out again this AM and rattled off a couple hundred rounds between the 2. The 10/22 sure loves the Lapua Standard Club. That is the priciest ammo I have tried in it. I think no need to try more expensive as it is a Klik-Klak.
In regards to the Browning Buckmark Hunter that I have I think it shoots pretty darn good for off the shelf. The only thing I did to it was touch up the crown with my 60deg cutter by hand. Otherwise I think it shoots sweet. Here are the photos of this mornings outing.
The 25 yard target was 60 rounds of Win Dynapoint. Just had 1 shot out of the 10 ring. The 50 yard target was 50 rounds of Win Dynapoint. There were 4 shots outside of the 9 ring.
Bang for the dollar the Dynapoint is not bad stuff. Cycles very well thru it. Just had 2 dud rounds this morning.
