My young hunting buddy was given a Browning BPS shotgun this year and wants to go duck hunting.

I looked at it the other day and it has one choke; labeled full-steel --- mod - lead.

It is not a "Plus" choke, just says "Browning" on it.

So is that safe to shoot steel out of or does he need to buy a choke that is labeled "Mod - Steel" ?

If so, where can he get one in Vancouver?

I have the same Invector chokes. The choke is a "modified choke" and Browning suggests you consider it a "full" choke for shooting steel. Yes you can use it.

I'll second this observation as well MD.
But, you can always check at Stillwater in Ladner as I know there is a box full of Browning chokes available.
Are those Snowies back in that secret spud field again?
Good Hunting,
Rob

Thanks guys. I'll tell buddy it's okay to use it. He can't really afford to buy much as he's a full time student with no rich parents.

As far as the the Snowie field, Rob, that place never turned on again like it did that time we met out there. But that was amazing wasn't it?

They've got spuds in there again and greens in other fields nearby. This might be the year it happens again!
