Browning Chokes.....

I have an older A-5, 2 3/4" and two barrels.
One is *_ which would make it Improved Modified.
The other is ** which makes it Modified.
Which of these two barrels would suit shooting grouse, chukars and
maybe pheasants?
I was originally going to chop one down for camp defense, but these
are really too nice of vented barrels to do this to.

Pattern them both to see which gives the best pattern with the ammo you will be using.

I would definately go with the mod, the IM would be a fairly tight pattern for close bush hunting. In my opinion I would get the other one bored out to improved cylinder or light mod for even closer range grouse.
