Browning citori 625 vs citori 725

Can any one tell me what the difference is between these two models?

I believe the 725 has a lower profile receiver and a much slimmer overall size. The one I tried felt more Beretta 686 sized to me. Much slimmer forend, pistol grip and not nearly as chunky of a stock as the older Citori's. In fact I was surprised the one I was offered was a 12 ga when I opened it up to prove it safe. It felt and looked like a 20 gauge to me even with the 32" barrels.

As spank says slimmer over all profile .the barrels seem more lively on the 725 .different choke system on the 725 as well Invector DS compared to invector plus on the 625 . The 725 also has the factory installed inflex recoil pad .

I have both. They both have lengthened forcing cones which makes them shoot much softer than my ultra xs. When actually shooting them, I don't notice much difference, but physically, the 725 is slimmer.

The 725 has mechanical triggers vs inertia triggers for the 625.

The wood on my 725 is phenomenal.

I own both. The 725s balance differently, because they have less weight in the barrel. I much prefer the 725 triggers. The only negative with the 725, is the DS chokes, which I replaced immediateyl with Briley extended chokes.

Ive never shot a 725,but I use my 625 for clays, and I find the extra bulk and weight just rght for games. If I was going to carry it all day,I think a 725 with its slimmer proportions and less weight would be ideal. Ive picked them up and they sure feel light, and nice, like any Browning.
