Browning FN Highpower Rifle vs Pre 64 M70....

If you are thinking of buying a Browning HP / Safari make darned sure to insist on seeing or pics of the removed under side of the barrel and action as the dummies made some using salt cured stocks and do they ever rust a gun. This was done in mostly the higher grade guns!

I hunt a lot with my pre-64 M70. Don't have a Browning Safari but rather a couple FN Mauser's. Not much to choose between the FN or the M70. Both are great, dependable, well made sporters. The one thing I really like about the M70 is the 3 position safety on the bolt. For a scoped rifle, it doesn't get any better IMO.
