I was searching for a 20 gauge semi auto, and bought this shotgun yesterday.I have never seen this model, and could not find it on the Browning site. The manual and label list it as a Gold European model, even though it looks a lot like a Browning Silver. However, unlike the Silver,it has a magazine cutoff lever on the left side.According to the stamping on the gun,it was made in Belgium, and assembled in Portugal.Has anyone ever seen this model before?

I have not seen this exact model before, but Browning seems to have made the Gold in many higher more ornate grades, including silver with gold inlay. Very nice looking gun!

Did a search on Google. Seems that there are a few of these for sale on GunsAmerica, but one needs to get an account to view more detals.

I had never seen a Browning Gold with the semi humpback receiver,so until I saw the magazine cutoff lever,I thought that it was a silver. As well,I have never seen a Gold in 20 gauge.I normally would not buy a gun with gold inlay or engraving, but this gun fit me so well, and balanced so nicely, that I couldn't resist.

Browning offered the Gold Hunter and the Gold Stalker in the semi-humpback design in their 2007 Catalog. That year at least the Superlite Hunter was offered in 20. I prefer plain book and blue, but got to admit your 20 sure is a looker.
