Browning Hi-Power 22lr conversions?

I have an Argentine .22 unit for the BHP. It took a little filing to get it to function, but it does quite well now. I've had it for about four years, and have used it enjoyably with my Inglis Mk I*.

Ciener does one. They look alright, but I do not have any trigger time on one. Like most .22 kits, it will more than likely be rather temperamental and picky about ammunition so you will get some pretty varied reviews.

So far about what I expected. The Ceiner is the one I'm most interested in. Are they available locally? (on the wet coast) How much do they cost?

Yeah, I like mine. But Ciener is the biggest a**hole I've ever met in the firearms industry and from what I hear he hasn't improved over the years. I wouldn't give the guy another dime.

Not what you were looking for, but...

Rick,
How long have you owned yours and may I ask what it cost you? If that is a Picture of yours it looks like a fine piece of craftsmanship!! Sorry to hear the Guy is a @##$, are there any other competitors that you would recommend instead?
I really don't want to support pinheads, or would you part with yours?:)

I got it a couple of years ago as a birthday present from my wife and brothers; I presume they paid the advertised price on the website.

Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge he's the only one making .22 rimfire conversions for the BLR. The craftsmanship is okay, but of the three kits I'm aware of around here, all three needed some "fine tuning" before they worked properly.

No, I wouldn't part with mine after all the hassles and pains in the ass it cost us with Mr. Ciener. If you'd asked to buy it the day after I got it and immediately after my first phone call to Ciener, however, you could have bought it dirt cheap.

The nice thing about the 1911 and clones is that there's several sources of .22 conversions for that platform.
