Browning Hi-Power or Safari

Can anyone tell me the differences between these two rifles. I have seen one of each in .30-06 for sale and am wondering what they are worth. Are they based on the FN Mauser action. I would appreciate any info. Thanks

Should both be on FN actions. If I remember correctly, Safari was a slightly higher grade version, the precursor of the Medallion

I can only offer the info I have in my gun traders guide.
There are several different High Power models, Safari making up three of the models that were available.
Olympian the highest grade, then Medallian, Safari standard action, Safari short action and Safari medium action.
Prices in my book vary from $695 to $2395 for the above models, in excellent shape. My book is a few years old now so it may be out of whack.
