Is it just me or are these tubes worse than usual for accumulating plastic and lead fouling? I have a 725 with extended chokes, it took me a lot longer than usual to clean them today. The surface finish is far from polished.

I find the DS chokes stay a lot cleaner than any other screw in choke I have tried.
Have agree in 3 years of shooting my 725 sporting ( 200 plus shells a week) I have cleaned the chokes twice . let soak in solvent for few minutes then a few passes with a bronze brush and there good to go .
