they make a 10 round magazine for them , if they started to import them and the mags into Canada , it would be interesting to see if the mags accidently fit into a bar

They have made straight pull BARs for the Euro market for ages, on and off. Similar to the BPR in that they take a BAR, neuter it, and give you a manual method of operation, in the case of the euro folks, straight pull.

They offered a similar straight pull in NA a few years back for one or two years at best. It was called the Acera and it was a sales flop here but did ok in other markets.

Years ago Browning came out with the Acera which is a straight pull bolt. This new rifle definitely reflects the Merkel Helix which is the style that Germans are manufacturing. (ie: two piece stock, no bedding, or overall non-conventional)

Yea, thanks for all the inputs... I am debating on importing the maral or just buy a Blaser R8 professional.. I kinda like the idea of the take down stock tho, just another topic to yelp around camp fire... Lol
