Browning Maxis 2 slug barrel?

Anybody know if they make or are gonna make a slug barrel for the Maxis 2 ? Son wants to buy the 26 version but want to be certain there is a slug barrel for it ? Now or this coming fall?

According to the Browning site the new maxus ll is offered in a slug gun configuration . so there is a chance the the slug barrel can be purchased seperatly at some point .

You should contact browning about this.

Specifically about compatibility between 3.5 inch chambered guns and a 3 inch slug barrel. I know in the past they were not compatible.

I had my Maxus 2 out on the weekend shooting trap. I like them, I had to make some adjustments with the drop but its been pretty decent so far. Rolled a turkey opening day with it.

The maxus 2 slug gun was a shot show special and likely won't be a regular production shotgun. I wouldn't bank on slug barrels being available any time soon. I'd be looking at something else if you want it this year. Win. SX3,SX4,Browning Silver have fully rifled versions and barrels should be much easier to come by. If his hearts set on the maxus 2 he might have to buy 2 separate guns which is always more fun anyway and likely not a huge difference in money as buying just a barrel.

This leads to interesting question . is the maxus and maxus ll barrel interchangeable .
Update .after posting I did some reading on the Browning site . so I will answer my own question .No maxus and maxus ll barrels are NOT interchangable .
