Browning Medalist 22 cal

I have one my dad bought when they were first introduced. It really is a work of art. Fit and finish are absolutely perfect, and is definitely a tackdriver.

Thanks for the replies. My brother is looking at buying one and was just wondering. I think he said that there was a couple of the weights missing. Does anyone out there know where one could buy the missing parts?

Irv at Western Gun Parts in Edmonton might have some - (listed as "WGP" in the Edmonton phone book) - he bought all of Browning Canadas remaining parts when they pulled out of Montreal in the '80s.

I shot both the Medalist and the International in compitions in the 70"s and they were the equal of the 41's and the top end High Standards. Its a shame Browning quite making them as they are far better than any of the new models they make now. If you can get one I sure would recogmend you pick it up.

Had one in the presentation case. Are fine indeed with a couple of nice details such as a dry fire mode, removable brass deflector (pin), micrometer sights, adjustable trigger (and weights).

Sometimes one thing as to make way for another... should have kept it.

If you get one, send a PM and I'll have a look if I can find the manual to e-mail to you.
