Browning MK111 DBM

I have not kept up on the current gun ban B.S. Is this firearm legal in Canada ? If so I have some questions . Maybe I will start with this
What would be an as good semi auto or better ?

IRG brought in some NR length MK3 DBM rifles a little bit ago, limited number of them however. If I could get one with synthetic furniture and a proper NR barrel then yeah, it would be a solid semiauto .308 for "these times"
